Retail First Pty Ltd is thrilled to welcome Rebel Sport to Mt Ommaney Centre! Officially opened on Thursday, 24 October 2024, the new store has been months in the making.

Bringing Rebel to Mt Ommaney involved transforming nine tenancies, creating a new loading facility, refreshing our landscaping, and enhancing the Food Terrace, to deliver an engaging shopping experience for our community.

The grand opening weekend was a hit, with exclusive giveaways, exciting events, and special guests. The first 100 Rebel Active members each day on Saturday, 26 and Sunday, 27 October received gift cards ranging from $20 to $500. Visitors also enjoyed a meet-and-greet with former Brisbane Broncos captain, Sam Thaiday, and the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) broadcasting live with Channel 7 Sports Reporter Ben Davis and Olympic swimmer Brooke Hanson on site!

A huge shout-out to the entire Mt Om team for the hard work and dedication in bringing Rebel Sport to life at Mt Ommaney Centre, further elevating the retail offering and reinforcing the centre as a vibrant hub on Brisbane’s westside.
